One of the greatest joys of what we do is participating in worthwhile ventures throughout New Orleans, the United States and different parts of the world. We believe the focus we are to have primarily is in the area of assisting those who are working with underprivileged and destitute children though our burden is certainly beyond that.
“You’ve Invested, They’ve Gained!!” It simply means that the opportunities you give us to serve you brings in the funds we need to support spiritually, emotionally and physically, the needy children and adults in our home town of New Orleans, over into Guadalupe, Mexico, and all the way across the globe to care for orphans in places like New Delhi, India.
To say that we are humbled by this privilege, would be an understatement. For more information, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit their website. We are grateful and blessed to be able to support the following ministries (and others) through financial assistance, volunteering and prayer.
Abundance of Desire exists to address the holistic needs of our neighbors in the Desire Community. We create unique opportunities to grow mentally, physically, and spiritually through coordinating physical activity, nutrition and personal development for persons of all ages. We support and provide space for community engagement, education, life skills development, intentional neighboring, and wellness.
The New Orleans Mission provides food, shelter, clothing and spiritual guidance to the city’s homeless, hurting and hungry. Our commitment to meet the physical, social and spiritual needs of the homeless community is backed by the financial support of generous local residents, churches, organizations and corporate donors that understand the importance of being socially responsible to the people in communities where they live and/or do business.
We are proud to be part of the village that is helping to raise the children of Central City, New Orleans. In a community riddled with crime, blight, poverty we are providing safety, stability, and hope. From Bible study to basketball, study hours to summer camp, we are committed to building personal relationships with the young people that come through our gates. Our Youth Ministry staff has come up through our programs and now embraces the responsibility to shepherd the next generation through the joys and pain of growing up in New Orleans. We love seeing how God moves in the hearts of these youth and call it a privilege to be called to this work.
