PCG’s client is looking to add an Oracle Applications Developer to their team, with office locations in Metairie, Northshore or Westbank.
Job Responsibilities:• Gathering and analyzing business requirements/system requirements
• Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best technical solution to support the most efficient business process
• Documenting technical specifications/requirements
• Adhere to development standards, processes, guidelines and procedures including Oracle A.I.M. Methodology
• Produce unit test scripts and support all testing activities
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work with team members and members of other functional teams to coordinate and meet deliverables
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
Qualifications:
- A proven track record developing and documenting systems requirements, and designing, prototyping and testing under multiple deadlines
- Must have experience interfacing with functional end-users in developing required programs
- Skilled at technical problem solving and software change management
- R12, Toad experience a plus
- PL/SQL development involving Oracle EBS Time and Labor, Human Resources and Financials suites including knowledge of the underlying data model as well as basic process and data flow
- Hands on experience in development using best practices and standards on Oracle technologies
