Oversee small business accounting services department for fairly small CPA firm. Very comfortable, family like atmosphere. High standards and ethics.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients
    Communicates directly with clients regarding Accounting Service matters
    Processes client payrolls and related payroll taxes, initiates direct deposits, and prepares related
    payroll tax returns and forms
  • Prepares required client sales tax returns and remit payments as needed
  • Processes and maintains accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepares monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparation of year-end reporting forms, including W-2s and 1099s
Qualifications:
  • Prefer bachelors or Associates in Accounting
  • Must have strong general ledger accounting skills
  • 5+ years of small business accounting experience
  • Excellent computer skills especially Excel, Word, QuickBooks and various accounting packages
