    Description

    Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer responsible for advancing the integration line of their business. As a front-line representative, this position is responsible for selling our products to new customers, and existing customers as assigned. This is achieved through the qualification of sales opportunities, relationship building, strategic negotiations, and working effectively in a team selling environment. This position sets up and executes processes to strengthen loyalty, facilitate communication and accomplish and advance sales targets within both lines of business. This sales professional will be able to articulate our client’s unique brand and the significant reasons to buy from our world-class manufacturing partners.     Skills

    • In conjunction with Senior Leadership, set and achieve performance goals as they relate to the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Forecast opportunities and market dynamics to proactively guide sales activity and account penetration for assigned territory and accounts.
    • Ability to ask the right questions to uncover business opportunities and competitors’ weaknesses.
    • Analyze and communicate market influencers and competitors that challenge our sales opportunities.
    • Develop competency to articulate the reasons to buy from our client – having a clear grasp of and ability to articulate our unique, value-added brand.
    • Gainfully review opportunities, and professionally pursue strategic alliances with partner clients and vendors.
    • Establish accurate record-keeping concerning sales activity and targets.
    • Ensure that the commission sales and execution efforts work cross functionally with representatives from other departments for enhanced lead generation and to expand the target customer base.
    • Build the company pipeline with the timely identification and communication of cross-selling opportunities for project-related business development within commission business.
    • Work with our internal teams to troubleshoot and adjust sales strategy with an agile, informed, and collaborative focus.

    • Provide interface between the customer stakeholders and our internal team as needed.
    • Develop authentic personal relationships with our key customers and manufacturing partners.
    • Advise company leaders regarding relevant market changes that affect overall sales capabilities.
    • Develop and maintain long term strategic relationships with end users and key vendors, both up and downstream.
    • Effectively manage conflict with internal and external stakeholders, driving toward successful project and equipment sales.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensure that all sales/growth goals are met or exceeded on integrated quotas.
    • Create and implement a successful plan for assigned territory/accounts.
    • Implement strategies to secure appropriate and successful meetings with all necessary stakeholders utilizing appropriate team members to influence decisions in our complex sales continuum.
    • Ability to ask the right questions to uncover business opportunities and competitors’ weaknesses.
    • Analyze current business trends with a goal of optimizing sales and strategic alignment, keeping in mind strengthening the brand and market offerings.
    • Forecast opportunities and market dynamics.
    • Analyze and communicate successfully with our Quotations Team to modify RFQ responses as needed to secure business.
    • Must be available for regular travel, at times extended, with an ability to perform “ride-alongs” to support other sales staff as needed, and to build relationships with our client’s customers at a senior level.
    • Evidence competent personal initiative, time management skills and effective call planning.
