The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for day-to-day accounting, monthly and year-end close, financial statements, forecasting, and job costing.
Job Responsibilities:- Ensure credibility of the Accounting results by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
- Take hands-on lead position of maintaining and improving upon the accounting policies, procedures and systems.
- Direct and oversee all aspects of the Accounting functions of the organization.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with management as to identify their needs and seek business solutions.
- Provide management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
- Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
- BS in Accounting, CPA desirable
- 8+ years in progressively responsible accounting leadership roles, preferably in a job costing/project based environment
- Knowledge of construction industry and Work-In-Progress accounting a major plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate at all levels of the organization and with staff
- Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
