Our very professional downtown client is seeking a hands-on HR coordinator as they continue to provide top-notch services to internal firm stakeholders and associates. This role is a very unique opportunity combining the duties one would expect from an HR position with rare outward facing event planning activities and external communication as a representative of the firm.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule annual Open Enrollment
  • Administer health and welfare benefits, including enrollments, changes and terminations (health, dental, vision, FSA, HSA and parking)
  • Utilize resources available to answer employee benefits related questions..
  • Coordinate and communicate service requests with vendors—building, plumbing, water coolers, carpet cleaning, carpet installations, contractors, office painting, electrician, ice maker, pest control, plant guy, vending machines, typewriter, etc.
  • Update attorney web profiles and resumes; building digital and hard resume booklets
  • Prepare daily bank deposits
  • Assist IT and Records with communications to employees for document and records management; assist with identifying space for records
  • Coordinate and schedule all firm events – Halloween, Staff Appreciation, firm anniversaries, Holiday Party and Summer/Fall Luncheon, Race for the Cure
  • Assist with recruiting process (phone screening candidates, scheduling interviews, organize new hire paperwork, onboarding)
  • Backup to Receptionist
  • Coordinate and schedule onsite health and flu vaccinations
  • Coordinate payment for all attorneys LSBA dues and update LADB as instructed by attorneys
  • Coordinate all advertising and communications, as well as manage firm’s social media platforms
  • Must have at least 2 years of related experience in a fast-paced HR and administrative setting
  • Must be fully vaccinated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
